Safe Sport Policy

Core is a registered member of USA Swimming. 

USA Swimming is an optional add on and consists of two cost components.

• $125 paid to the Core Swim Team.  This is for Friday practices. 
  • High School Swimmer will pay $60 for the extra Fridays. 
• $90 to USA Swimming. This is to pay for your registration. 
• Friday USA Practices are 5:30-7:00pm
• Most of our invitational meets through Suburban Aquatic League have an optional USA Swimming recording to them.  Participation in the meets and being a USA Swimming member will open up additional USA meet options.   It will also allow swimmers to participate in events that are not offered in Core meets or in high school meets, such as distance events.  

We will have our first USA Swimming meet on Oct 25th.  This event is for swimmers who have USA Swimming certification and are under 12 years old.

Some swimmers may be staying in Hershey and going to Hershey Park the next day.  

USA Swimming info is here Membership.  Core's winter invitationals all are USA Swimming certified meets. If you register, your swimmers times will be kept in the USA swimming database.  This may allow you to compete in meets after our season in ends in January if you qualify.  The goal is for one USA swim meet in the beginning of the year and up to two more in February.
